After work today Gill and I are to pick up Floyds ashes from the vet. I imagine the rest of the night will be shrouded in tears and drowned in alcohol.
Currently in my early 40’s I have settled into some semblance of a stable lifestyle. I work at Newcastle’s General Hospital in the Clinical Trial Unit, setting up and coordinating cancer trials for patients in the North East. I have lived in the Newcastle area all my life apart from a short period in my early twenties when I moved as far away as Carlisle, woo! I set this blog up with no real idea what I was going to do with it but it quickly evolved into an online diary of sorts, chronicling the ups and downs of my life and the people, places and influences that play a role in it.
